Whoops....

It was a wild end to the Bears-Lions game. The Bears scored a late touchdown to take the lead, then Detroit drove down the field with time winding out. They completed what looked like a game winning touchdown pass. It was overruled because the receiver did not maintain possession of the ball until Thursday. He caught it in the end zone, came to the ground, and spun up, all with the ball in one hand. Then he placed it to the ground and it squirted loose. The ruling was he did not complete the play. Of course I liked the outcome but think the Lions got screwed.

Not a good omen when you need the help of a call to beat the Lions at home.
