That is the one I remember. "You can't please everyone / So you got to please yourself"
I may have another band you will like. Have you listened to any Little Feat? It was far from their only great song but I never get tired of listening to "Willin'" --
The lyrics sites I found are filled with ads and I won't annoy you with those. The line I like best is "From Tuscon to Tucampari / Tehatcipi to Tonapah / Driven every kind of rig that's ever been made / Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed" Those lyrics did not come from an idle mind. He died way too young.
I particularly recommend the "Sailin' Shoes" and "Dixie Chicken" CDs. One song I have always loved, far from their best known, is late night music at its best -- "When You Go Down"
