Thanks for the response.

The jobs executing under the task scheduler are Visual Foxpro Programs that encounter an error from time to time.... can the task scheduler terminate such an application. When I did some routine testing terminating the app this way caused another error and didn't close the application. The scheduler didn't generate an error and considered the job still running.
