I'm having a strange set of problems in my first use of a drop-down combobox on a fairly simple data maintenance form.

This application uses recycled deleted() records upon for adding records. Single table forms from the same flatfileform class work fine. If I have two or three tables in the DE with no relation between them, with the 2nd and/or 3rd table used just as a combobox for lookup valid entries in the desired fields for adding a new record, as soon as that field does "lostfocus" the record pointer moves in the master table, and the underlying record is updated, NOT the new (blank) one.

HELP! I have spent three days trying to determine what setting is wrong or what else I could have whacked out. I'm out of ideas, and running out of time...
