C# and the .NET framework are coming back to me. I like StrataFrame but it is on the back burner until someone wants me to do some custom development for them. My independent work has mostly been corporate stuff. My next step (in addition to looking for work, which is ongoing) is going to be writing a non-trivial .NET app from scratch, using data from the Northwind database. My thought is this might offset my lack of .NET work experience. What I have not decided is whether to do it desktop / WPF or web / ASP.NET. Probably the latter because that seems more in demand and it will give me a chance to work with MVC.
