The destiny of "good intentions" without any follow through winds up in a nasty place. I too had high hopes that vendors (Microsoft and 3rd party) would provide technical feeds. Real difficulty is when the parent decided to give up on the child -- no more VFP after 9!

As others pointed out, the potential there was for a unifying community with web access to news feeds, reminders of things to do,etc etc.

Right now, I have plenty of feedback in emails, IM systems at work, and the ever present media.

Suggestion: turn it off.
