I wouldn't be surprised if a % of them wind up disappointed with the results if they try to use it as a replacement for their laptop (see comments below). Also, it means the user will need to put some kind of anti-virus/malware product on.

>I've seen a few reviews from people who managed to get a prototpe of the ExoPC, and the reviews all seem pretty positive. But there are some other news pieces that make me wonder. For instance, GPS won't be their 64-bit version (they admitted they couldn't get it to work...obviously, not a major issue). Second. the pricing (if I read correctly) is a few dollars more than the iPad. Third, some of the online press clippings are calling this a "replacement" for a laptop - well, I suppose that depends on what type of laptop you had in the first place.

I was hoping that you would'nt know about it being pushed back. Was I naive or what.

But anyways about it being pushed back to me it's not that big a deal. I understand, as Long as they don't push it back too many times.

The battery time is the downside. They say they'd have surprise coming before the launch. I hope battery time improvement will be one of those surprises. Already they changed the SSD drive for a faster one.

In the meantime you have your toy and I don't have mine :-(
