The Green Mile My in-laws made me watch this. I honestly thought a movie about death row would be boring. Was I wrong....that was a great movie. I was so hooked that by the end, I was almost screaming at the TV screen (I knew that John Coffey would get executed, but was screaming for a different ending....that's how wrapped up I got)
Pulp Fiction Complete opposite reaction - I expected to love it, and wound up not caring much for it.
Forrest Gump Another movie I didn't care for in the theater, but loved on DVD. My favorite lines....
"I'm sorry I ruined your Black Panther Party"
"Have you ever been with a girl before, Forrest?"
"I sit next to one in my home economics class"
"I may not be a smart man, but I KNOW WHAT LOVE IS"
"What's your son's name?"
"His name is little Forrest. I named him after his daddy"
"He got a daddy named Forrest?"
"Ever been in a shrimpin' boat before?"
"No...but I been on a real big boat"
"It was great having Jenny back home...we was like peas and carrots again"
"Lt. Dan, what are you doin' here?"
"Well, Forrest, I'm here to try out my sea legs"
"But ya ain't got no legs, Lt. Dan"
"Sometimes, there just aren't enough rocks"
"Lieutenant Dan, ice cream!!!"
"I think I ruined your roommate's bathrobe."
