Hi Valerie...

You can modify the VFoxpro.Wse Script file to look for the correct
locations of your NEW Visual Foxpro 6 files. You will need to add
a few lines to look for some of the new stuff the VFP6 needs. Here's
the bad news.. I haven't been able to get a working distributable
at all. I can create the disks (Which bloats the installation by 2
disks for some reason) and then when trying to install on a computer
(That does not have VFP 6) it pukes.

As far as Version 7, I did not realize that it DID support Visual Foxpro 6.
My last phone conversation with Wise was that they were thinking about
implementing it in 7, but will not commit to it yet.

This last part really upset me, since I got this great Postcard from Wise saying how easy it was to use with Visual Foxpro. I Pay $199 for it, and I did not realize that it MIGHT be the LAST Version that supports Foxpro! Arrghhhh!
I feel like Charlie Brown! hahaha

Please let me know if you find out anything different!
Bob :-)

>I tried to use my WISE 6.01 product to build a distribution program. A few days ago, I uninstalled Visual Studio 97 and installed Studio 6.0. Now I am getting an error in WISE when it tries to build my distribution executable -- the error is that it cannot find a file to install VFP runtime support. It is still looking in the directory where Studio 97 was. There is a file in WISE called vFoxPro.wse that tells the distribution wizard where to find the necessary runtime support files. Do I have to upgrade to WISE 7.0 to get a more recent version of vFoxPro.wse or is there another way? Can I just modify vFoxPro.wse myself to look in the right place? Thanks in advance for any help.
