The laptop, next to it, is also using a Logitech mouse. That one is a model G5. It is a regular non wireless mouse. I never had a problem with that. That seems to indicate that the surface is ok. As far as the batteries go, as I said, there aren't any in it as this is a rechargeable mouse. I have to buy another wireless kit for the laptop. So, with the new one, I will see if that is also sensitive.

I see that the current drivers are the default, which is from Windows. So, I will try to find something recent on the Internet. Those drives are dated from 2006.
