9991 which I believe can help in this sort of situation (haven't used it myself).
That one still uses "???" for the final output. What my class does is simplify the generation of the text-file that is to be printed - with a detail method that gets called once for each record, groupheader and groupfooter methods that get called every time the break expressions change, etc. - and where the programmer "plugs in" the commands to generate the text.
