What my class does is simplify the generation of the text-file that is to be printed - with a detail method that gets called once for each record, groupheader and groupfooter methods that get called every time the break expressions change, etc. - and where the programmer "plugs in" the commands to generate the text.
I was probably thinking of the "rawprint.vcx" download mentioned elsewhere in this thread.
