I'm surprised because my cousin who used to live in Connecticut always told us that he couldn't find that cheese curd. So when he visited he always left with lots of it.

>That's a dish that we used to make in Wisconsin when I was a kid. We used the cheese curd that was near to throwing out. BTW, growing up around dairy farms and cheese factories, we used to run to the closest factory and buy a huge bag of cheese curd every now and then... It wasn't until I was in my twenties that I learned everyone else was making it with chili or brown gravy and melted cheese.

>>>I suppose what I noticed most about your list was that, with the possible exception of spaghetti, you didn't include a single non-US 'ethnic' dish. I haven't time right now to construct my own list (it would take a lot of careful thought and best be done when I was not hungry) but I'm sure it would include at least one Thai, Indian, French, Spanish and Scandinavian dish....

>>>Uhm....lobster tail can be from other parts of the world. :)

>>>Thai food is OK.

>>>I admit, I've never had French cuisine.

>>>Spanish food is OK.

>>>I have zero knowledge of Scandanavian dishes, so I can't say.

>>>I've had Indian food several times. I'm not looking to start a debate and I don't mean this in any kind of a bigoted way, but I cannot stand Indian food. Some of it smells like being downwind of a gas station. If JB is reading - he and I worked with a guy who ate Indian food all the time. Made me want to request that they rewrite the employee policy manual.
