ERA of 3.18 and WHIP of 1.003 which was, in fact, a better WHIP than Doc. But a long contract? No - bad idea. I'd give him a couple of years and then play it year by year. If he wouldn't accept that, I'd probably pass. I have a feeling there are going to be a few free agents come along who'd love to pitch in Philly.
