>>My God, who is that? If I could do that I probably would never do anything else.

>Oh sure. His piano is probably better than yours. Same reason why Louis played trumpet better than I. He had that great horn and mine was just an old student trumpet.
One of my pianos is a Knabe grand from the 1920s with an Ampico electric player unit. I've got a roll Gershwin cut that actually sounds like Gershwin playing - but for some reason when I do it, it doesn't sound like Gershwin. <s>
( the amazing thing about the piano is that is not only plays the notes but reproduces the pedal and touch )
This one isn't mine but is very similar.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy
Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.
-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin
