>Making his first start since the season opener, quarterback Jake Delhomme threw two interceptions, including one Panthers cornerback Captain Munnerlyn returned 37 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. Still, some lucky breaks and a stellar performance by Browns running back Peyton Hillis, who finished with 26 carries for 131 yards and three touchdowns, plus six catches for 63 yards, helped Delhomme edge his former team.

>"I’m extremely excited about it," said Delhomme, who completed 24-of-35 passes for 245 yards with two interceptions. "I don’t think I enjoyed wins as much as I could have at Carolina like I should have, so I’m going to enjoy it."

Sure wish McCoy hadn't got hurt last week. Also very glad Holmgren wasn't seduced by the possibility of Clausen and went for McCoy instead.

Think your guys may be looking for a QB in the first round next year.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
