The time warp "Since last login" seems to resolve the issue of missed messages (or at least caught one). I just logged in at 22:38 and no messages displayed by default. I used that time warp feature and it displayed a message dated 2011/01/12 21:37:27 under Visual Foxpro, Classes-VCX by John Harold Belalcazar Loz.(which I had not seen displayed in the top pane before in my previous login period).
Why that wasn't displayed when I logged in, I don't know. The refresh button at the top showed 0 and no messages were displayed. However, it did display using the time warp feature.
