Hilarious! I know some of it is tongue in cheek but there is also a lot of truth to it. One of Emily's friends is a Filipino-American girl whose parents drive her like a sled dog a mile from the finish of the Iditarod. At some point she began driving herself like a sled dog a mile from the finish of the Iditarod. She will probably be the valedictorian. In fact she informs all and sundry that she already is. (Wouldn't it be cool if she got a boyfriend or something and bombed a couple of classes this semester? ;-) )
