>>Be glad you are in the southern hemisphere, my friend.
LOL. Actually I flew out of Chicago just before the storm... that proceeded to follow me to Dallas. Yesterday we drove to Houston on treacherous ice with cars and semis stuck all over the place... and then this morning Houston had below freezing temperatures too. The whole state is enduring rolling blackouts at the moment because of all the stuck-at-homes running heaters. Sheesh. But I'm off to a ranch on Friday and then have to leave on sunday because there is no room at any inn because apparently there's a little football game here on Sunday. Since the weather is following me, perhaps I'll go to Florida and see if I can cause a freeze there too!
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
