Yes to all three. And in all three cases, although they may enforce encryption over the wire, the provider has no control of how I choose to store the information on my device - the information is, after all, mine and I can treat it how I wish. I don't think the same freedom could be allowed in the case of a company employee storing confidential information on a local device?
