In SQL Server string constants use single quotes. I think MySQL is probably the same. Single quote should be safer. Also, use p and s instead of a/b for aliases.>
>I have change my double quotes into single quotes, with the same (unwanted) result. Kindly check message 1500219 - I have also changed the table alias A and B into AA and BB as per Tore's advise. Still the same.

One more try - get rid of aliases completely (even if it will make it longer to write) and use table name as alias.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
