You may be a 100% right but as Whil Hentzen will tell you legal is whatever the company with the best lawyers says is legal. This would only work in so much as it is so insignificant that MS just doesn't care. the last thing you want to say to MS is "Oh yeah? So sue me! " <g>

>>No, using VFP like they did 15 or 20 years is oldster imo. And no, it doesn't matter even if M$ finds and destroys every copy of every VFP CD/DVD they can find. It will not kill it or even slow new development or ways of using it! Why? Because of the VFP runtimes. I can get a copy of ActiveVFP from CodePlex, write a complete vfp web app using nothing more than notepad and existing code/examples, and host it on the cloud at GoDaddy. And guess what? I never had to spend a dime on the original VFP to do it! And yes, it's legal.

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
