Thanks, Rick

We tried running a similarly sized set of data here at work across the network, setup the same as the problem Pharmacy.

The End of Day reports ran across the Network in about 5 minutes, not over an hour as they are having a problem with.

We are going to get a copy of their data and test here to be sure it is not the program itself as the problem.

I am thinking a network issue of some kind... maybe a bad network card going at 10 versus 100 ??

Thanks again.

>One gig of memory is not a lot on any Windows machine, so adding at least another would probably be a good idea as memory is likely pinched for any applications running on the box. VFP will consume as much memory as is availalbe (up to a certain point) but in a 1 gig system there's not that much memory to start with.

CPU/Disk/Memory is so cheap these days it's hard not to think of optimization of hardware as one of the first things before even tweaking custom software (which is expensive) that might be slow but works :-)
