The Web-app you are developing.... will you be able to run this is a 'disconnected' fashion from each of the various mobile units.
One probelm we have is that, in a lot of places, connectivity to the internet cannot ne guaranteed, and we need sometying that can be run from 'any' smartphone locally (i.e. without any connection to the internet) , and then the results uploaded or synchronised later.

Does a 'Web' app mean it has to be connected , or is using an inernal browser just to run the app. If its the latter, then we should be ok

>If your want a bigger audience then one phone operating system then you need to develop a web app. I am working on one now and I am using www.jquerymobile.com. Still in alpha but I expect it to go beta soon. They just announced that the latest build will work with wpm. Of course it will work better when WPM runs IE9.
