Only in exceptions, but our projects usually require onsite meetings and a close contact with clients.
There may be projects where this can be separated, but this is more rare. In any case we could gather some contact information so we have that at hand if we suddenly would need someone and if we could have a way to estimate cost for the budget.
Another situation could be to have a hybrid between telecommuting and onsite work, if for a specific project allows this. We could have somebody come for a few weeks to setup the project and then do the rest remotely.

>>Hello all,

>>I just find it amazing how difficult it is for us to find programmers (VFP or .NET) to move to Aruba and live and work here. We are looking for some experienced (+5 yrs) VFP and/or .NET for quite some time and I expected it to be somewhat difficult but until now without success.

>>If you happen to know someone who is looking for a job, I would like to hear from them. We need somebody who is able to work on a complete project and knows the language pretty well, and also knows OOD well.

>>Could it be that all programmers found their dream job already?
