I believe, there is no separate SSMS R2, so it should work (look close at the bottom).

BTW, if you haven't done much work, may be it's easier to uninstall all SQL Server versions you have currently and install SQL Server 2008 R2 Express with Advanced Services.

Alternatively, if you need it for development only, I suggest to buy Development version for $50 and enjoy all the features in full of SQL Server (this is the version I have installed locally).
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
