>No kidding! I am not as familiar with the British IRS rules as I once was, but I know Mark would be much better of forming an American corporation and having his prospective employer enagage the corporation as a consultant. Checks desposited in a US account avoid the Inland Revenue gents. Our taxes are bad enough, but British rates are extortionate.
I appreciate the suggestion, James, but I wouldn't feel right about doing that. If I'm living in the country and using their services, I feel I ought to pay what everyone else has to pay. My current health insurance premiums are very high, and so I might not lose out too badly, anyway.
But check with me in a year, and I might be singing whole 'nother tune. :)
