Is there a reason you need an activex? There all the API that all allready on your computer that can do all of that.
FtpGetFile, FtpCreateDirectory, FtpDeleteFile, FtpRemoveDirectory, FtpOpenFile, FtpDeleteFile,FtpRenameFile, FtpPutFile etc...all in wininet, and build your own with whatever function you need.
