Hi Mike:

I thought about an activex because there are a few ones I use in my apps. One for managing fiscal printers and this is well documented. The others (MAPI and. MSCAL) are very easy.

Wininet and others API functions I can find the documents in MSDN and the brains of MS assumes we all know about C or VB but not VFP and when I see "as integer as string as boolean" (althoght I think I undestand what that means) I don't see any "reponse" property and the examples assumes everything is fine or ".f." ("boolean")

The reason of an activex coud be there's a seller. He wants me to buy it and he has to convince me... So he has to be very clear.

I know very little about FTP (and actually about VFP either) and I suppose a comercial activex can let me do others marvelous things else I ignore.

Surely I'm wrong but now it's late. I bought one.

Thank you very much.

Hector
