Sorry, I don't know if any one person is "in charge", or who it might be. I did spend about 15 minutes searching, and could find nothing indicating any kind of access restrictions on that particular mailing list.

You're right, *currently* there would be no way for a poster on a mailing list to be notified there was a reply here on the UT. But, you could create an enhancement that would e-mail a notification back to that person. In that case, you might find the biggest issues are that, on some lists, all messages you receive may come from the list, rather than the original/individual posters. And, by default, all list members receive all posts.
