I have to admit I have never been able to completely warm up to him. It isn't the language barrier because I really like Marquez. Borges just hasn't worked for me. If you want a collection of his works, just say the word I will send it. Books should not rot in basements.

My favorite of all the south and central American writers is Mario Vargas Llosa. "Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter" is on my desert island list.
