http://tinyurl.com/3tx8hbm>It's time for me to go away again, and not in shame this time. For the first time in a while there are some good things in my life. The FoxPro online community has been a habit -- it's part of my addictive personality. It's spring and I am going to treat it as a rejuvenation. One of the things I have decided to do is start running again, and my thoughts went to Steve Prefontaine. He was the runner's runner. I remember Whil Hentzen, a pretty serious runner himself (~2:40 marathon), telling me that when the news came out that Pre had died he and his teammates went out for a long hard run, no one saying a word.

>One of the greatest distance races in history, even though it was not to my satisfaction to see him lose to a convicted blood doper. It's like watching your favorite baseball player lose the home run title to Barry Bonds.
