That depends on the kid. William's friends were important to him, but he always made time to see me when I called. He also called me when he was in need or having problems that teens have. He knew I'd listen without being judgemental and offer advice. Its a shame that it took me the second time around to learn how to do it right... the first time I was winging it ... btw, William turned 21 last weekend and it was nice to be able to buy him his first legal beer.... Lol.... and talk to him as a friend rather than a kid...
