Pot should definitely be legalized. It has been part of our culture for about 50 years now. You would be hard pressed to find a high school student who isn't aware of it and hasn't tried it. Personally I have not taken a toke in over 30 years, not long after college, but that's not because I consider it evil. It's just something I did in a place and time. I don't consider the kids who try it along with their friends or the adults who choose to use it recreationally to be bad seeds (so to speak). For sure it is less of a menace to society than alcohol. Besides, we have the donut and potato chip industries to consider.
