Yes, it is certainly an option. But, as the originator of the message was saying, it would be nice to have an OCX which will be able to read Gif animated as the Web browser is doing to be able to use the gif file as is without having to work this out.
BTW, talking about image OCXs, I tried ImageFx two weeks ago, which is doing up to 140 effects, kinda like the Video Toaster, and I had to return the product because it does not fit well with Visual FoxPro. Most of the effects are not working and it is not working well with the way Visual FoxPro deal with palette colors.
