>Yes, it is certainly an option. But, as the originator of the message was saying, it would be nice to have an OCX which will be able to read Gif animated as the Web browser is doing to be able to use the gif file as is without having to work this out.
btw though it is an overkill - u can use a webbrowser (such as MSIE or netscape) to view GIFs (and whatever) inside a VFP form
