I've never said one was better than the other. Both are great products.

I did the exact search you suggested and worked through the first four pages of links. In general I eliminated links that talked about Mango or pre-release WP7.

Number of apps mean nothing to me. How many are duplicates? How many are really just junk? Like I said, I have only looked for one app on WP7 that I couldn't find. OK, actually, it does exist but doesn't have the features I want, so I'm writing it... and it doesn't exist on any platform. Everything else I've wanted, I've been able to find. Number of apps does not mean one platform is better than the other. Many people will tell you that the Mac is better than a Windows PC, but using your logic that couldn't possibly be the case because there are more applications for Windows than Mac.

Instead of making blanket statements like "more features in Android OS" or "Adnroid is more customizable", give me some specifics.

>So let me get this straight - you think WP7 is better than Android? I suppose if you don't want to use any software on it it could be a close tie (or back it up apparently). I think you're searching for reasons that WP7 is better and not really doing a side-by-side comparison.
>Much more features included in the Android OS
>The Android OS is more customizable
>More apps available in the Android OS
>Look - zillions of apps for Android - just a few for WP7. taadaa! case closed. Sort of the reason I use Windows for my desktop instead of Unix.
