>What were you expecting for a Microsoft version 1.0 product?
Something complete maybe.
From Microsoft (A huge company with lotsa lotsa lotsa money) something that won't let me think. Well once again they released an unfinished product. And once again I will have to test their pre-alpha release.
I don't remember the last version 1.0 thing that Microsoft released and I said WOW!
Is it normal? I guess that from a $$$$ standpoint it's best to release software (or hardware for the WP7) with just the minimum number of functions. Then you add as less as possible then you can charge for those little improvements and keep on getting more and more $$$$$$. And you call it version 2.0
Version 2.0 will indicate that the product is solid now! Naaah not really just a marketing tactic for many companies. Version 3.0 will come along...

>>Yeah well - that's of little help. Apps you bought are restored, but no settings, no data - only the app itself...unless of course it was a trial you downloaded from Zune and that doesn't get restored. Another example of WP7 fail...
