Lots of money does not translate into unlimited spending. It doesn't translate into keeping something back for another year to add features. Time to market is important. Budgets are important. I've said this before. Microsoft is not one big company. It's like a group of piranhas, all feeding off the competitors and each other.

Then you add as less as possible then you can charge for those little improvements and keep on getting more and more $$$$$$. And you call it version 2.0
