Example close to home: I always customize my Office toolbars and take 2/3 of the buttons off (like cut&paste, undo/redo, the wizards).

I'd bet that 90% of all toolbar buttons are never clicked and 10% of the used 10% get 90% of the clicks. Toolbars just generally don't seem to fit into the type of database apps I work on.
