I'd bet that 90% of all toolbar buttons are never clicked and 10% of the used 10% get 90% of the clicks. Toolbars just generally don't seem to fit into the type of database apps I work on.
Have you guys seen the Office 2000 toolbars? You can set it to automatically add buttons as the function gets used from a menu. They'll even remove themselves if the button is not used for a specified period of time.
