That's a bunch of crappola. It emits fewer emissions, but is not more environmentally friendly. The Prius has additional manufacturing steps and the battery must be disposed after it's dead.

Agreed. I have read all the environmental consequences of the hybrid vehicles. The exotic metals, the batteries, etc. We're better off without hybrids IMO. Have you seen the compressed air car? Now that's cool technology!
