I do not create apps for it nor do I care to (unless I was planning to sell it). I did purchase a motorola bluetooth device for my car for the same reason you mention. When I get in my car it automatically connects and lets me know it did. When I get out, it disconnects and goes into power save mode. I don't have the advantage of using it while not in my car, but then I never was one to waunder around with a headset on my ear.

Yes, I do not plan to walk on streets with that on my ears. I always found that a little funny so. :)
