It's not really any of my business, but why did you feel it coming?
>Not a total surprise. I've seen it coming for a while. Think of the relative dieing a slow death. It shocks you when the end finally comes. I actually started looking a month ago, but wasn't very active or serious about then, since I was still employed.

>>I assume then it came as a bit of a surprise. Thats always hard especially when management you may have trusted doesn't give you a heads up..

>>>Thanks all for the good wishes. I've been here before. The body still in shock. Haven't been eating and didn't sleep well, but that will pass in a few days. The good news is I already have several good leads. Have talked directly via phone and email with several companies and headhunters. Got good refererals from friends. My mind says all will be well. Just waiting for the body to catch up.
