The database is about 32 gigs, and the grow is set to 10%. It has done the grow during the day, once this week (today) and the lastweek. It is taking enough time, that it has recently become noticeable. I'm thinking about changing the growth amount to a higher percentage to at least reduce the number of times it kicks in.

>>In SQL Server 2000, is it possible to tell autogrow to happen during a particular period of time (after normal office hours for example) rather then when ever it wants? I'm assuming it detects the need to grow, and just does it rather than detects and schedules.
