Ok, seems to be the time to reply. After having read this thread, here's a reply which contains several answers. This reply goes to all.

The current version has a small restriction which does not allow the installation to work with a directory containing a space. The default is coming from the workstation. So, if you have c:\Program Files has the default, this is containing a space. Just change to another directory when installing. This is fixed in the upcoming version.

The UTNav will only work from the icon created during the install. Clicking on the EXE from Explorer won't work.

I already applied several fixes about known behaviors. Those will be part of the upcoming versions. Before releasing it, we would just like to support firewall. However, we have to change the entire infrastructure and have the components to be updated.

The UTNav is an offline engine. That's why its main goal is not to replicate the Web interface and offers all those online features. That's why there is no support for automatic detection of new messages and replies.
