Yesterday, my VFP6.0 finally arrived and I installed it right away. I also had to install MSIE4.01 and the MSDN Library, so I had to reboot my PC 4 times! What a pain!

Anyway, I now have a problem and a question:

Problem: I still have FP2.6 installed on my office's LAN, but when I try to open it, it will sometimes lockup my PC. My mouse arrow will move, but clicking doesn't work, and my wallpaper just sits there. It didn't start doing this until after I installed VFP6. Any ideas or suggestions here?

Question: Short of investing in books which I may not use for a while, is there some way I can familiarize myself with VFP? Right now, I can get in and wander around, but I'm reluctant to do anything really strenuous for fear I might "blow something up," as one of our users puts it.

Since these questions have probably popped up time and again on this site, please feel free to write me privately so I don't have to waste a lot of UT's space.
