>I'm planning to begin developing web applications but my main and almost only programming language I know, and work with, is VFP 9. So I guess I should adopt one of the mentioned above. I would like to know which one of them is the easiest to learn, the stronger to support a lot of concurrent users. Or which one would you recommend?

Most hosting services are Linux and come pre-installed with PHP and MySQL.

If you need to add shopping carts, content management such as a news feeds or web logs, there are tons and tons of PHP+MySQL 3rd party products that you slap into place.

PHP isn't a pretty language, and I don't really know much of it.

But I can use Google to find just about any example or solution I can't figure out myself.
