Hi,
I have a strange situation of .zip file doubling in size when I download it from my FTP. Here is what happens:
1. I send the file to my FTP from the customer site. The file size is about 90MB.
2. Then, on my computer, I connect to my FTP (using FileZilla Client) and I drag this file to a folder on my computer. I can see the progress going from 1 to 100% and the size transforming correctly. So at one point I see 100% complete and the file in my pc folder of about 90MB. But the transfer does not stop. FileZilla continues showing bytes being send to my PC and this transfer stops when the file on my pc is about 180MB (almost exactly twice the size on FTP).
I can unzip this file on my pc and see not problem. But why the size double during the transfer?
Update. After I unzipped the file on my computer, I zipped it again. And the resulting file is about 90MB. So it looks like the 180MB zip file has some "empty" space. Still can't understand what is happening.
