We lived thru the golden age of "Xbase" and undertandingly do not want to throw away our expertise. Like many of you I also work in VB/Access and to me it's a "no contest" with VFP but, I would be very interested to hear the opinion of a young programmer that might have started with another 4GL, say Powerbuilder, SQL Windows or the like and is now working with VFP.

Started in dbaseIII, the FPD 1.0, FPD 2.0, FPW 2.5 and now VFP (by far the biggest and best jump).
